Austin- Rabbiteye

Introduced by the University of Georgia, this rabbiteye type is a heavy producer of large berries which are a medium blue color. They provide a good yield in early to mid season. Rabbiteye are more heat tolerant and also require less chill hours, making them an ideal choice for southeastern gardeners.  This variety also exhibits good disease resistance.
